Ridi Namje Eco-Resort aims to foster nature-friendly eco-resort offering a rare blend of nature and modern hospitality services (lodging, flooding, and entertaining activities) with a value promising offer targeted for internal and foreign tourists of Nepal. The main objective of the resort is to create and promote the domestic as well as international tourism business opportunities in Nepal by designing, managing, and providing various tourism-related facilities and activities like lodging station, restaurant, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) hall, picnic spots, swimming pool, adventure sports, health, and fitness center, religious spots, etc. The resort will be arranged for hotel and tourism management training and research in the region.

2. Hallmark of Namje Village

● Namje village at 1585 meters is a small touristic village, dominated by Magar peoples with 200 households, including 19 houses for the homestay.
● The name translates from eaten yam (Nam-Tarul, Jya-Khayo) in the Magar language.
● Geographically terraced fields, surrounding wooded hills, climate-changing approximate 5 times in a day, and stunning views of fifth-tallest peak Mt. Makalu (8463 m.).
● In 2011, CNN Travel had listed Namje among the ’12 best places on the earth you have never heard of’, listing the best undiscovered touristic destinations worldwide.
● Similarly, Namje is famous for the ‘Atma Basne Ghar'(a spirit house), a Buddha Bihar, and the way to other famous touristic places like Dandagau, Rajarani, Mudhebas, Budhabare, Rabi, etc. of this region.

● Ozone water treatment will be used for the swimming pool instead of chlorine
● Completely solar powered Trekking, Hiking, and Camping facilities to the serene natural sites with a clear view of the Himalayan Range.
